Chinese Language Resources
There are a variety of free resources that your student can use to add some expressions to their repertoire and help their long-term memory!
Duolingo
Duolingo is a wonderful, free phone app (and has a useful web-based version too) that offers interactive practice in around 40 different languages. It gamifies much of the learning and encourages developing positive daily study habits. While there is an option to pay, you can do absolutely everything without paying. This is a must try!

BBC Chinese
The British Broadcasting Corporation is one of the world's largest public broadcasting networks and has many educational resources for students on a wide range of subjects, including Chinese! You can find video lessons, dialogues, and games. Even though it is no longer being updated, it still has a good supply of useful resources. This would be a good site to use for someone who is very motivated to learn more after (or during) the program.

Spotify Playlists
If you already use Spotify for music (or really any other music streaming service), why not check out some modern Chinese music. Search "Top Chinese Music", "Best Chinese Rock", or "Chinese Hits 2023" and you will find many curated playlists of music that is popular in the Chinese-speaking world today. Even if you don't understand anything in the beginning, you're still likely to find something catchy that might motivate you to check out (and every learn some of) the lyrics. Nothing helps the memory like music!
